Approach

I have worked as a counsellor/therapist for 25 years. In this time I have worked with a wide variety of clients in a large number of different settings.

I work in an integrative way, using a personal centred foundation and also using other ideas from gestalt, solution focussed, mindfulness and art psychotherapy.

I am interested in working with all sorts of issues including, relationships, bereavement, health issues, parenting, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, trauma (both past and present), workplace issues and life transitions.

I recognise that people may have varied and unique combinations of difficulties and resources. My aim is to recognise and value each person’s own self and experiences and to be with each of my clients on their journey of reflection and self(re)discovery.

I have the following qualifications:

- Diploma in Counselling, MA Art Pscyhotherapy, Post grad Cert in Counselling Supervision.

- I work to the BACP code of ethics.

- I am an accreditted member of BACP* No: 541504 and a member of BAAT* (HCPC* registered No: AS15219)
